Private Charter Rates

The total cost of your cruise will be dependant on the day/time of your event, your preferred dining options, guest numbers, your selected drinks packages (if required), event type, decor and entertainment. As such, we ask that you contact us to request a quote, before you do, have a look at our frequently asked questions below:


Is there a minimum spend/amount of guests required to hire the vessel?

We don't have a minimum spend for private charter cruises, but we do require a minimum of 60 guests.


Do you have options for smaller groups on board?

Yes, if your group is less than 60 people, have a look at our cruise program, we have a huge range of cruises to suit any requirement, budget and celebration with group prices available.


Can we provide our own catering, catering requests, menu changes/additions?

We offer kitchen hire for Independent caterers to serve food on board and we take pride in our flexibility with your catering requirements, from allergies to algae, we're ready to work with you.


How long can the cruise go for?

Our standard cruise packages include 3.5 hours of event use (boarding, cruising, disembark) with two hours of set up time before, however we have options for extending/shortening your cruise time and/or hosting docked events with full use of the boat/pier (no cruising). We do not have set times for the Boarding/Departure/Arrival of private cruises however, I cruise license runs until 12:30am.


Can we provide our own alcohol on your cruise, is there a BYO alcohol option?

No, however we can tailor our drinks menu to suit your event requirements.


Do you provide parking for cruise patrons/hirers?

No, we do not provide parking to cruise patrons or event hirers, however we can assist with load in of equipment. The closest parking areas are Wilson Parking, Etihad Stadium and Alumbra (Atlantic Group).


What kind of entertainment can we have on board?

We have the facilities to host a range of entertainment options from DJs, large bands, roving performers, seated theatre shows and dance parties. Event hirers can provide their own audio, lighting, decor and entertainment or we can assist with this sourcing this for you.


Do you offer Beverage Packages, TAB and/or other bar services?

We have a variety of drink options including our Standard Drinks Package, Premium Drinks Package, welcome drink on arrival, bar tabs and we are happy to tailor our bar menu to suit your event.


Do you offer marketing assistance, advertising, box office support and/or co-production services?

We want all of the events on our vessel to be successful, and as such, we are open to working with you on your event, however we offer this case by case, email elizabeth@melbourneshowbot.com.au to discuss further.
